Privacy Policy
This policy is governed by the date printed at the top of the page, which marks the edition currently in effect. Operating out of 3151 Main St in Oakley, Nava Bros Moving is a licensed California household-goods carrier, and the sections that follow lay out — in plain language, with no legalese — what becomes of the information you send us when you request a written price on this site. In a sentence: that information is here so we can quote and carry out your move, and it does nothing else for this company. Selling what customers tell us has never earned us a dime, and it never will.
What we collect
Some of what we hold you hand to us on purpose. When you fill out the form or talk to us, you’re sharing your name, a phone number, an email, both addresses, your target date, and the particulars that let us price an East Bay job — how many flights of stairs there are, a gate code, whether a Walnut Creek tower is going to ask for a COI, whether there’s a piano or a gun safe in the mix, whether climate-controlled storage is needed to cover a drawn-out closing.
The rest is gathered automatically and in the background. As soon as your browser loads a page, the site records routine technical readings — an IP address, which device and browser you’re on, which pages you open. That logging is what keeps the site running and protected.
Why we keep it
Nothing we keep just sits there; every piece serves a purpose. In concrete terms, those details let us write up your price and send it back, put a truck and crew on the calendar, line up the gate clearance and a Walnut Creek certificate of insurance ahead of the date, set climate-controlled storage in motion, answer your questions, and keep the records that California asks of a licensed mover.
Access and security
Only the staff and crew who truly need your information to do right by you can reach it, and we put reasonable safeguards around all of it. We keep it no longer than wrapping up your move and clearing the tax and legal obligations that come with it actually require — and not a single day past that. Here’s one point we’d rather say outright than tiptoe around: no transmission across the internet is ever perfectly secure, and claiming otherwise would simply be a lie.
Who else sees it
Outside our own office and crew, your information goes to an external party only when genuinely finishing the move requires it — a payment processor when money changes hands, our insurer if a claim or coverage question comes up, or a building manager, HOA, or gate desk that won’t let the truck in without the paperwork. Apart from those operational hand-offs, and apart from whatever a court or a law obligates, it never leaves us. Selling it, renting it out, or swapping it to anyone is simply not on the table.
Cookies and site analytics
Like most sites, ours uses cookies and runs analytics so we can see — in aggregate — how visitors move through the pages and where things need smoothing out. You can switch cookies off in your browser settings; do that and the occasional feature may act up, though the site keeps running.
Your rights
The record we keep on you is yours. Call or email the Oakley office and you can review it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you’re free to tell us to stop sending follow-ups at any point.
Changes to this policy
If the law changes or our practices do, we’ll rewrite this notice and post the updated wording here under a new date — so what sits on this page is always the version currently in effect.
