By the hour, we send our W-2 crew to load up or empty out a truck, a pod, or a container, fast but careful, so your back stays in one piece and your brother-in-law keeps his Saturday. You hold onto the driving and the storage; the heavy lifting shifts to us.
What the crew handles
Done right, loading a rental means the big boxy pieces go in first, the weight sits over the axle, and each item is padded and lashed so nothing budges once you’re out on Highway 4 or I-680. At the other end the crew carries it indoors, climbs the two-story tract stairs if the new place has them, and sets each item in its room. We turn up with the pads, the dollies, the straps, and plenty of practice; the one thing you supply is the vehicle.
Who books us
Most often it’s a rented truck or pod that just needs hands at one end, or at both. Some callers are driving it themselves and simply don’t want to haul everything up a two-story staircase. Now and then a pod parked in a Brentwood driveway needs packing tight enough to survive the road, or a storage unit needs stacking smart enough to swallow the whole load. And a fair share of calls are for a single side, just the load or just the unload.
Hourly, clock run straight
It’s priced by the hour, $145/hr for two movers, on a three-hour minimum. You get a straight estimate of the hours before anyone lifts a thing, and the meter doesn’t start until the crew is actually at work, not the moment a truck pulls out of our yard. We don’t inflate the count, and no surprise minimum is hiding in the fine print.
