The price comes off real distance and real weight, folds into a single figure, and that figure holds the moment the truck reaches the far door.
Lanes we drive
Work or family pulls a lot of our customers south. Top of the list is the I-5 shot into the Los Angeles basin, roughly 380 miles, a long day behind the wheel. Then comes the desert leg out to Las Vegas and onward to Phoenix at close to 750, and the northbound haul up to Seattle near 800. The destination changes; the arrangement never does, one crew and one figure.
What the figure covers
Put your name to it and the load-out, the drive, the carry-in, the pads, the wrap, the disassembly, the rebuild, and every mile in between are all already accounted for. Pricing the haul off weight and distance and getting it down on paper is exactly what keeps the delivery bill from creeping. Riding along are the federal protections, which apply no matter what: released value set at 60 cents per pound, an optional full-value tier running roughly one to three percent of the value you declare, $1M in cargo liability, and a claim window of close to nine months.
Storage in between
Long-distance dates rarely line up on their own. Should your Oakley closing and the far-end keys fall a few days apart, Brenda tucks the load into clean, dry, climate-controlled storage, and delivery happens on whatever day you name, the whole thing still riding under that one quote.
Same faces, both ends
I’ve watched friends get talked into a cheap cross-country quote on the phone, only to face a bloated invoice at delivery from a company that farmed the work out to the lowest bid. Our model runs the opposite way. The same Oakley crew that carries your things down the stairs is the crew arranging them in the new home.
